Sarah, our Language Assistant, has shown our 6th graders how to make a ghost for Halloween. They have used tissues, cotton balls, black permanent markers and silvered string.

A Notebook from a Cereal Box

6th graders have made their own notebook for the Arts and Crafts lessons. They  have reused cereal boxes, old newspapers and sheets from old notebooks. This time they have used sticky paper to cover their notebooks.

Notebook

The school year is nearly finished and the students are going to take their things home so I´ve decided to use the roses they painted to decorate the front of a notebook. We have reused biscuits and cereals boxes. Students have also reused sheets from their old notebooks.

This time we have reused the milk carton to make a puppet.

Dot Painting

Students had to paint a rose, write their favourite Galician word and glue it on the petals to decorate the school corridors for the Galician Letters Day Celebration. This activity comes from the Galician Language Department. I decided to use the dot painting and  I think the final result is really nice.

 6th graders have made a ring for Mother´s Day. We have reused little pieces of fabric from patchwork and a  toilet paper roll as a gift box to take the ring home. We have reused different materials to decorate the toilet roll paper box.

Holiday Project

Today 6th graders have been in the computer room because they have to do a Holiday Project.

 

 They are divided in small groups to make a recycled craft.

They have to fill in this form.

Two Crafts

We have reused the mixture left and the jar lid to make another two crafts.

Some kids made a clothespin magnet and some made a clothespin clip. 

They reused the jar lid to make an ornament. 

They used pictures from magazines, catalogues and photos.

A vase

This time kids have made a vase from a jar. They have reused tubs to mix the mixture, old aluminum paper and packaging paper to wrap their vases to take them home.

These are the bookmarks and the envelopes that 6th graders have made to give their friends as a Valentine. Good job guys!!
