A pencil holder from a milk or juice carton

Sixth graders have used a milk or juice carton, some lefties (fabric and eva foam) from the art classroom to make this pencil holder. We bought some ribbon, tags and paper clips to decorate it.
I gave them the letters for their initial name.

Impressionism Project

Sixth graders have been learning about impressionism.

First they were trying to use the impressionist style of painting with "Waterlilies".

Next the students were learning about Monet and were painting "Japanese Bridge" and "Sunset" (this idea comes from artwithkatie). They used acrylic paint.

Then they are going to take some photos at different moments of the day to make a photo transfer.

Finally, students have made the photo transfer
