Merry DIY Christmas

Snowglobes

Sixth graders made two waterless snow globes. The first one was the same for everybody.

 

We reused different jars and sprayed the lids with a golden spray.

  

Then, we reused lids and coffee pods to put the Christmas figurines on to get height.

Finally we put some fake snow in the jar.

 

Students had to use imagination and creativity with the second one.

                                 

PLastic

We were doing a plastic pollution project at  the English class and one of the things students had to do in this project was to give a second life to some plastic containers. They  took  them home to make some crafts. Most of them are very useful!!!

You use this when you do running to keep your water bottle, your mobile and your energetic fruit bar.

Primary Colours Project

We learnt about primary colours.

 Students coloured with primary colours.

Then we made a craft.

We learnt about Roy Lichtenstein and Pop Art

Finally, students made a collage using as a pattern a Ikea shopwindow.

Lavender Sacks

We have reused some fabric we had in class and some lavender from my garden to make these sacks.

Photo Transfer

This photo transfer is a part of Monet´s project. When students finished to make their own photo transfers, I was thinking about how they could use their photos so I suggested them to use it as a clothespins board.

After the project some students brought some pictures from home to do more photo transfer.
