Photo Frame

One of the activities we did during the American Week was a photocall with the flag of the States that the second graders painted with teacher Raquel.

Then the 6th graders reused tomato sauce jars as a photo frame to put their photocall pictures in. They also reused gift wrapping and bow to wrap it to take home.

Pablo Picasso

Pincushion

I have made this craft again because I think it is very funny and useful. We have reused an old CD and a tuna can.

During this week we did different activities about The Usa in our English and Art lessons so our kids  know Sarah´s country. The two bilingual sections in our school have been studying American painters, the 2nd graders Roy Lichtenstein with teacher Raquel (We are creating masterpieces) and the 6th graders  Jackson Pollock.

Special Portrait

The 6th graders have made this special portrait for Mother's Day. They have used photocopies of their  profiles and they have reused boxes to make oval frames. Here you can see some of the student's portraits. The oval frame idea is from "El baúl de Cenicienta."
